Hi I’m Pia, I live in the beautiful town of Margaret River with my hubby and two little ones.
As a former gymnast, I was initially attracted to yoga to maintain flexibility and strength. I also liked the way it helped warm me up for a surf but after a while I began to notice there was more to it than being able to do a kick arse arm balance (even though they are really fun!)…I had only just scratched the surface.
I began to understand that with a regular practise, things in life became easier, less competitive or frustrating. Day to day life became simpler, and more in sync.
I am also a qualified biologist and so have a nerd-like fascination with fascia (and all things anatomy related). If you are working with a specific injury, please let me know and I’ll do my best to adapt the practice so that you not only learn how to practice safely, but also how to find more comfort in your body through yoga as you increase your movement, and balance flexibility with strength.
I have been teaching Vinyasa Flow and Pregnancy Yoga since 2012 in Perth and Margaret River. My classes are fun, lighthearted and pay respect to the fluctuating energies of the moon and seasons. I love to share how yoga can enable you to foster a deeper connection to not only yourself, but to nature, resulting in feeling more at home and at peace in your body & mind.
